BIO
Emily is a 3D Technical Artist at Adobe Substance 3D. With a background in product and fashion visualization, she enjoys all aspects of the 3D pipeline but specializes in texturing and look development.
Emily began her career working as a visualisation intern at Gillette (P&G). Her hobby of creating ornate materials and fabrics in Substance 3D Designer then became her trade as she went on to freelance for companies such as INDG working on projects for large fashion brands such as Puma, Under Armour and Canada Goose. During this period she started freelancing for Substance 3D, running trainings for smaller enterprise customers for a short while. In 2022 she found a job opening on the Art and Development team at Substance 3D and has been there running trainings and making tutorial content ever since!
She is always excited to hear about and discuss the latest 3D Art trends and whether they can streamline current 3D workflows. Emily takes great enjoyment out of showing people new things to make their design processes easier, which is why she loves talking about and teaching the Substance 3D tools!
